Hands-on-
Exhibitions

The annual hands-on exhibition aims to promote knowledge, creativity, critical thinking and independence in thought and action. The exhibitions make topics from science, art, everyday culture and architecture tangible and perceptible for children aged 6 to 12.

Detective Stories

A hands-on exhibition for children from 6 to 12

What do Kalle Blomquist, Miss Marple, Sherlock Holmes and the Famous Five all have in common? Precisely: they are all famous sleuths from exiting books and films.
Running time:
  • 13. March 2014 - 31. August 2014
At this exhibition, you can play the detective, going on an exciting chase or making your way skillfully through the laser field, where you have to trick the alarm system. With magnifying glasses, a DNA sequencer, and a microscope, you can get to work at our detective lab. You can study fingerprints and other clues, create an identikit picture, try to decode secret writing, and analyze samples from the scene of the crime. Who was secretly nibbling at the cake? A DNA analysis will lead to the culprit. Finally, at the scene of a crime, you can use your detective knowledge to figure out what might have happened. With the help of the evidence and with the help of your imagination, you can create your very own detective story.
