Cash, quid and bucks

A hands-on exhibition on money

Cash, quid, bucks, dough, bread, moolah: we all know where your allowance comes from. But how did you parents get it? How best to divide it up?
Running time:
  • 30. September 2010 - 27. February 2011
This exhibition is arranged as a game: you can earn money, split it up, spend it, save it, donate it, measure your height in coins, and generally learn a whole lot about money. You can find out how money used to look, why we need it, and what money can’t buy. At the national bank station, you can watch how money is produced. You can print your own money – not Euros, of course, but zoomies – you can put on security features, and guard a money transport. At the bank, you can count and sort money, save it, or invest it in stocks. Were you ever at a money zoo, a money disco, or a money gym, and do you know what one million one cent coins look like? Come to ZOOM and have a look!
