Animated Film Studios

With the aid of unique media technology, children in teams can create their own animated film. They’ll invent characters and plots, create sounds and combine the analogue and digital worlds, in the process using and enhancing their social and creative skills. All of the animated films and sounds that have been produced by the children during their visits are digitally archived in the ZOOM Collection.

Over two consecutive days, we’ll create an animated film inspired by poems. Which poems? Poems that we’ll write ourselves! Together with poetry slammer and rapper Yasmo, we’ll craft poems from scratch — from the very first word to the finished performance. In collaboration with educators from the ZOOM Children’s Museum, we’ll produce a film to accompany them. The result will be two works of art that complement each other — on the screen and in the room — with no limits to creative ideas.
