Animated Film Studios

With the aid of unique media technology, children in teams can create their own animated film. They’ll invent characters and plots, create sounds and combine the analogue and digital worlds, in the process using and enhancing their social and creative skills. All of the animated films and sounds that have been produced by the children during their visits are digitally archived in the ZOOM Collection.

Lab Club: Darkland

The cinema project for children and youngsters from 8 to 14

At the new Lab Club, you can help make a documentary on Darkland, a country never seen by a single person. For Darkland is a strange, mysterious place that we only know very little about.
Running time:
  • 22. February 2014 - 22. June 2014
 It is said to lie far beyond the dark mountain, and it’s supposed to be very, very dark there, so dark that you can’t see a thing. So you can begin your explorations using flashlights and nocturnal vision devices. What do you think awaits you in the cone of light? What does Darkland sound like? Who lives there, and what do they look like? In the film, you will document your travels and report on new findings from Darkland.

The film will be presented publicly in Autumn 2014 and will also be available on DVD.
